Danny Ray Evans

Mr. Danny Ray Evans, 57, of Ruby, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 10^th, 2023, while at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center.

A native of Lancaster, Mr. Evans was a son of the late Walter & Elsie Deese Evans.  Danny was a driver in the trucking industry for 27 years.  He loved spending time with family; especially his daughter and grandchildren.  When he had time, he enjoyed fishing and watching Star Trek. 

Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Annette Pierce-Evans of the home; a daughter, Krista Walls Evans of Rockingham, NC; grandchildren, Madison Walls and Brendon Walls; siblings, Ricky Evans and Dale Evans Hendrix; 3 brother-in-law’s, 3 sister-in-law’s, and multiple nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
