Cynthia Diane Lee

Hartsville, SC 

     Mrs. Cynthia Diane “Cyndi” Lee, 65, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday afternoon, September 3rd, 2024, while at Prisma Health – Richland, with her family by her side.

     Mrs. Lee was born in Florence, a daughter of Don Lee, Sr. and the late, Martha Dority Lee. She was employed with McLeod Health for 30 years. Cyndi loved the Carolina Gamecocks and had a knack for crafts and sewing; her dream was to one day own an Etsy Store for her crafts. Mrs. Lee was a former Sunday School teacher, choir member and loved playing the piano.

     Surviving to cherish her memory are her children: Alycia Lee of Darlington, Spencer Lee of Orlando, FL, and Taylor (Isaac Rowe) Lee of Hartsville; grandchildren: Connor Lee, Jaydon “Jay” Lee, Kynzli Ann Lee, Ellison “Eli” Mitchell; father of Darlington; siblings, Donald Lee, Jr., and Kimberly “Kim” Lee.

     She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Donna Lynn Lee. 

     The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Ken Beasley of McLeod Health for all his help during Mrs. Lee’s time of illness.

     Her memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 on Friday afternoon, September 6th, 2024, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home with Reverend Joey Colson officiating. The family will be speaking with friends following the service at the funeral home.
