Cynthia Hamilton

Mrs. Cynthia Lynn Hamilton, 59, of Hartsville, passed away Wednesday morning, December 27th, 2017, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the Bishopville Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  The family will be receiving friends following the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hamilton was born in Bennettsville, a daughter of the late William and Marilyn Jordan Jones.  After Cynthia’s health began to decline, she loved social media which allowed her to connect and keep in contact with friends and family.  Her greatest love though of all was husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family.

Surviving are her husband, Rebel L. Hamilton of the home; daughters, Nickki Gray of Sumter and Michelle Verduce of Wynandotte, Michigan; son, Jason St. Armor of Hartsville; grandchildren: Desmond Gray, Oliver Gray, Nicholas Burleson, Sophia Verduce, Gabriella Verduce; siblings: Jerry Jones and wife, Cindy, Denise Scurry and husband, Johnny, Sandra Kerce and husband, Ricky, Jerry Grubb and wife, Chris, and Larry Pate.

She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Teresa Gensemer.
