Corine Beasley Rollins

In loving memory of Corine Beasley Rollins, age 88, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at McLeod Hospital in Florence, SC. 

Corine was born on June 29, 1935, the daughter of the late Burch Lee and Connie Rogers Beasley

Corine dedicated her life to caring for others, especially during her time as a daycare worker where she treated the children under her care as if they were her own. Her love and nurturing spirit extended beyond the walls of the daycare center into her own family and community. A talented painter and floral decorator, Corine's creativity knew no bounds. Her hard work was evident in everything she did, including her contributions to the family farm. She lived each day guided by her faith and devotion to her Lord and Savior.

Left to cherish her memory are sons Elvin Lee Rollins (Tina) and George T. Rollins (Judy) of Bishopville, along with grandchildren George T. Rollins Jr. (Kelly), Brandon Rollins (Brandi), Cameron Rollins, Wesley Rollins (Kristen), Chelsea Rollins, and great-grandchildren Tabitha Rollins, Amber Rollins, George Rollins III, Kamden Rollins, and Weston Rollins.

Corine is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas L. "Pete" Rollins, her parents Burch Lee and Connie Rogers Beasley, and siblings Mason Beasley, Elizabeth McCaskill, B.L. Beasley Jr., and Shelby Jean Beasley.

Graveside Services to honor and celebrate Corine's life will be held Tuesday at 11:00am April 16th from the St. Matthew Christian Church Cemetery in Bishopville. A visitation will take place from 10:00-11:00am Tuesday in the Church Fellowship Hall.

Memorials may be made to the St. Matthew Christian Church Cemetery Fund.
