Cletus Kennington

Funeral services for Cletus Harold Kennington, age 74, will be held Saturday at 2:00 at the Beauford Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Williams and Rev. Wayne Stegall will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Kennington was born in McBee a son of the late Carl Kennington and Nellie Gainey Kennington. He retired as a supervisor with C.R. Jackson Construction Company.

Surviving are four daughters, Cindy Blackwell, McBee, Lisa (Edward) Tyner, Hartsville, Melody (Michael) Davis, Ruby and Carla Kennington, Colorado; one son, Marion (Rachael) Railey, Camden; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, one sister, Helen (Don) Miles, McBee; He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Kennington and a son, Thomas Harold Kennington.
