Christine Renee Ellefson “Chris” Kneisley, 57, of West Columbia, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017, after fighting a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Born in Northfield, Minnesota on November 28, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Delores Sigurdson Ellefson and Winston Ellefson. Chris worked as a Registered Nurse in various positions throughout South Carolina including her most recent as the Congregational Nurse of First Presbyterian Church of Columbia, South Carolina where she was also a member. She will be sorely missed by her family who rest in the assurance that she is with her Lord and Savior.
