Charles Edward "Charlie" Brown

Mr. Charles Edward “Charlie” Brown, 74, of Hartsville, went to be with The Lord on Sunday, January 30th, 2022, while in Rocky Mount, Virginia.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon, February 2nd, 2022, from Tabernacle United Methodist Church.  Reverend Melissa Williams and Reverend Brian Enlow will officiate with burial following in the church cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

A native and lifelong resident of Hartsville, Mr. Brown was a son of the late Bill & Ruth Haire Brown.  Charlie loved going to yard sales and spending time with his family.  He worked 20+ years with Discount Auto Parts and was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving are his daughter, Crystal (Brian) Snyder of Moneta, VA; grandchildren: Ty Yarborough and Lilly Snyder also of Moneta, VA; siblings: Joyce Walters and Gerald Walters both of Hartsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bo Brown and Johnny Brown.
