Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for David Gainey, age 51, who passed away Oct. 16, will be held Friday at 4:00 pm at the Clyde Church of God. Rev. Don Childers & Rev. Wallace Strickland will officiate. Burial will be in the Clyde Church of God Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 pm at the Funeral Home. David was born in Hartsville a son of Gene Gainey & Jeanette Poston Gainey. He was employed with A.O. Smith in McBee and was a member of Clyde Church of God. Surviving are his wife, Pamela Turner Gainey, Hartsville, mother, Jeanette Poston Gainey, Hartsville, Father & Step-Mother, Gene & Margaret Gainey, Darlington, brothers, Tommy (Lisa) Gainey, Bobby (Lori) Gainey, Hartsville, sisters, Janet (Butch) Morrell, Shirley (Roger) Wallace, Hartsville, Emily (Aaron) McInville, Florence.
