Chance McKay "Bubba" Watford, born on April 9, 1997, in Hartsville, South Carolina, passed away on January 10, 2025, A beloved, son, father, brother, and friend, Bubba was known for his vibrant personality and boundless energy that touched the lives of those around him.

From a young age, Bubba embraced life as a big goofball, never meeting a stranger and always quick to share a smile or a laugh. He possessed a special love for animals and enjoyed the joys of nature, frequently spending his time fishing, which brought him immense joy and relaxation. Bubba was also passionate about working on cars, a hobby that reflected his hands-on spirit and love for mechanics.

He is survived by his wife, Jurni Watford, and their four sons: Kegan Lane Watford, Sebastian Damon Watford, Lukas Kane Watford, and Braycen Grey Watford; bonus daughter, Jocelynn Snow Hawkins Barefoot, McBee;  he leaves behind his mother, Tonya Atkinson (Chris McCathern), and his father, Richard Watford (Jennifer). His sister, Kali Watford, who was his partner in crime, will deeply miss their shared adventures. Additionally, he is survived by his step-brother, Dalton Edwards, half-siblings Abby Watford and Tyler Watford, and his maternal grandparents, Pam and Travis Smith. Bubba also leaves behind paternal grandmothers Kat Jackson (Bob) and Sissy McCathern, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry forth his spirit in their hearts.

Bubba's life, though cut short, was enriched by love and laughter, and he will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched. A visitation will be held in his honor on January 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Norton Funeral Home and Crematory in Hartsville, SC, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and celebrate his remarkable life.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Ricky "Root Dog" Watford and Terry McCathern.
