Funeral services for Cecile Hicks Boykin age 76, will be held Monday at 2:00 at the Green Hill Church of God of Prophecy. Rev. Jerry Gainey and Rev. Ricky Dutton will officiate. Burial will be in the Green Hill Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday 3-5 pm at Norton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Boykin was born in Cheraw a daughter of the late David Crocket Quick and Marie Griggs Warren. She was a member of Praise Temple Church. She was retired from Hartsville Manufacturing and later worked at the Piggly Wiggly.

Surviving are her grandchildren. Michael Hicks, Columbia, Cynthia Williams, Pageland, Billy Downey, Darlington, Chip Downey, Patrick, Ashley Roberts, Pageland, William Hicks, Jr. Oklahoma, Brandy Odom, Myrtle Beach, Michelle Clements, Georgia, Vince Hicks, North Carolina, Mitchell Hicks, North Carolina, Carol Ann Hicks, North Carolina, Dale Hicks, Rock Hill and Grace Hicks, McBee; two sisters, Edna Mae Lloyd, Hartsville and Doris Dixon, Concord; one brother, Larry Carroll Quick, Hartsville. She was preceded in death by six children, Cynthia Hicks, Joan Wilson, Mitchell Hicks, Boo Boo Hicks, Maggie Hicks and Renee Grantham.
