Cecil Gardner

Bethune, SC

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Cecil Gardner age 79 will be held 3:00pm Wednesday at Harmony Baptist Church.  Pastor Tim Stephens will officiate.  Burial will be in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Norton Funeral Home of Hartsville.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5:00-7:00pm at Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville.  

Mr. Gardner was born in Hartsville, SC the son of the late Claude Cary and Dolly Deaver Gardner.  He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and was retired from DuPont.  He enjoyed working on his truck and loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lori (Chris) Davis, Bethune; son, Jeffrey (Jenay) Gardner, Bethune; sisters, Linda Short, Bethune, Katie (Burnie) Cobb, Camden, Martha (Bill) Floyd, Henderson, KY and Brenda Rawlinson, Florence; grandchildren, Kiptyn Davis, Kinsley Davis, Alexis Gardner, Morgan Gardner and Braylyn Gardner; great grandchild, Blakely Gardner.

He was prceded in death by his wife Patsy Gardner and a son James Gardner.
