Carolyn M. Taylor age 91, passed away September 8 at her residence with her loving daughter by her side.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9:30 – 10:30 at Norton Funeral Home on Wednesday. Rev. Tom McCrea will officiate.

Carolyn was born in Fork Mountain TN, a daughter of the late Clay Alexander Cupp and Willie Sharp Cupp. She retired from Western Auto and later was manager of B & L Trucking Company.

Surviving is one daughter, Susan (Coker) Jones, Hartsville; three grandchildren, Aaron (Stephanie) Smith, Hartsville, Jennifer (Matthew) Watford, Darlington and Crystal (Jason Gainey) Jones, Hartsville; five great grandchildren, William D.K. Smith, Hartsville, Taylor Watford, Harmony Watford, Zena Watford, all of Darlington and Coker D. Jones, Hartsville.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her first husband, William K. Vowell, Sr. and her second husband, Harvey Taylor; one son, William K. Vowell, Jr.; one granddaughter, Kendee Smith; one great grandchild, Ayden Watford; two step sons, Jerry Taylor and Charlie Taylor.
