Carolyn King Harding, 94, came to rest on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, at home in Dillon, SC. Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 3pm at Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville. Rev. Michael Sapp will officiate with graveside services following at Gum Branch Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 2:00pm.

 Mrs. Carolyn was born in Darlington County to the late John Timmie King and Iva Mooneyhan King. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Harding, and grandson, Nicholas Harding. She is survived by one daughter, Brenda (Ricky) Talbert and their three sons, Ben W. Harding of Newport, New Hampshire, Ron J. Harding (Cathy-deceased) of Wake Forest, NC and Allen R. Harding (Josie) of Seneca, SC. Grandchildren are Sybil Talbert, Jackie (Will) Shelley, Richie Talbert, Rebecca (Steve) Augeri, Ronda (Reid) Powell, Jamie Harding, Justin (Frannie) Woods. Great grandchildren are Benjamin Harris, James Evan and Riley Shelley, Tripp Talbert, Ayden and Liam Woods, Catherine Powell, Forrest Powell, Hattie Powell and Sarah Powell. Great-great grandchild Delilah Harris.

 Carolyn served as church secretary at Gum Branch Baptist Church. She was also an office clerk at Carolina Power and Light. She faithfully served numerous positions for her Lord Jesus Christ over her life. She attended West Hartsville Baptist Church from 1985 to 2007 and First Baptist Church Dillon after 2007. Carolyn had compassion for serving her Lord along with spending time with her family. Thank you to the ladies who took care of her at home and to Agape Hospice. Donations in her memory may be made to local churches or Connie Maxwell Children’s Home in Greenwood, SC.

 Pall Bearers will be Richie Talbert, Will Shelley, Riley Shelley, Justin Woods, Ayden Woods, and Reid Powell
