Conway...... Carol Jean Landon Poston, age 68, wife of Ronnie J. Poston, Sr. passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023.

Mrs. Poston was born in Waterford Township, Michigan, a daughter of the late Robert Charles and Betty Joe Boyd Howe Landon. She was predeceased by a daughter, Christina Poston and her stepfather, Richard "Dick" Howe. Mrs. Poston was a member of Aynor Church Of God. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Coleman in Lake City, SC. She was known for her delicious cakes and cooking. Mrs. Poston collected "Pig" memorabilia and had several hundred Pigs. She loved spending time with all of her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband of Conway are: two sons, Bishop Ronnie J. Poston, Jr. (Monica) of Ruby, SC and Bishop Daniel Eli Poston (Lisa) of Hartsville; one daughter, Lisa Anne Barefoot of Aynor; nine grandchildren, Hannah Barefoot, Gracyn Barefoot, Trinity Barefoot, Alayna Barefoot, Ronnie Poston, III, Noah Poston, Owen Poston, Samuel Poston, and Abigail Rose Poston; four great grandchildren, Ava Podwats, Harper Hagen, Lila Hagen, and Mylee Satterfield; one brother, Robert Landon, Jr. (Susan) of Rochester Hills, Michigan; three sisters, Patricia Schwarts (Eric) of Alanson, Michigan, Tracey Webber (Mark) of Rockford, Michigan, and Debbie Coulter (Jim) of Utica, Michigan; a special sister in law, Sherry Poston Salazar (Rudy) of Johnsonville, SC; a special brother in law, Scotty Poston (JoAnne) of Simpsonville, SC and several nephews, nieces, brother in laws, and sister in laws.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday from Aynor Church of God with Rev. Timothy Julian officiating. Burial will follow in Aynor Church Of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM Wednesday.
