On  June 5, 2022 Bryan Scott Myers passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer. He was 56 years old. Memorial services of Remembrance will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Bishopville First Baptist Church.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.
 
Scott loved working in his shop on an array of projects. From refinishing furniture to rebuilding his motorcycle. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and never asked for anything in return. 
He loved his family and his church family dearly.  
Scott was raised on Lee State Park Rd in Bishopville, SC. He married the love of his life Ruth Skelton Myers on Feb 14, 1988
 
Scott is survived by his wife Ruth and their son Bryan  Craig, Mother in law Sara Skelton, Brother in laws, Jack (Deanna) Skelton, Marty Skelton, Sister in law Lynn (Gary) Smith, Nephews Darrell (Amanda) Smith, Matt Smith, Austin and Chad Skelton, Niece, Amanda (Timmy) Smith, a great nephew Liam Smith. 
A special cousin, Delmas McLeod. And his best friend LaFrance Bennett. 
We’d like to thank McLeod Hospice for their love and care.
 
In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church at 229 W. Church St. Bishopville, SC 29010.
 
Norton Funeral Home and Cremtory are honored to be of service to the Myers family.
