Brent Alan Hammer

A Memorial service for Brent Alan Hammer, Sr. age 63 will be held Sunday at 5:00 pm at Moree River Lodge, 143 Kolb’s Tomb Road, Bennettsville, S.C.  Rev. Jerry Springs will officiate. Visitation will be following the service directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville.

Brent was born in Oswego, N.Y. a son of William Hammer and Elaine McConnell Hammer. He was retired from Domtar-Marlboro Mill after 26 years of service. He had a love for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and a special love for his family.

Surviving are his wife, Tammy Tiller Hammer, Society Hill; one son, Brent Alan Hammer, Jr., Chapin, S.C.; one daughter, Dena (Dean) Herrick, Murrells Inlet; his father of Phoenix, N.Y.; his mother of Oswego, N.Y.; three sisters, Sherrie Thompson, Sue Hammer and Sondra Nelson, all of Oswego, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Gianna Hammer, Dean Herrick, III, Jalena Hammer, Jacob Herrick, Ciarra Herrick and Noah Herrick.
