Brenda Joyce King

Mrs. Brenda Joyce King, 73, of Hartsville, passed away Friday, October 1st, 2021, while at Aiken Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 on Saturday afternoon, October 9th, 2021, from Hartsville Church of God with Reverend Renna Windham officiating.  The family will be speaking with friends following the service at the church.  The family also invites friends to come by the residence anytime at 1038 E. Carolina Ave., Hartsville.

A native and lifelong resident of Hartsville, Mrs. King was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Hill & Miriam Petty Hill.  Brenda enjoyed cooking and crocheting, but her greatest love was being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are her husband, Sonny King of the home; children: Genia (Richard) Lovelace of Hartsville, Lisa King Siebold of Cumming, GA, Anthony Brockington King of Hartsville; grandchildren: Casey Thomas, Kayleigh Thomas Russell, Anthony Brockington King, II, Taylor Louise King, McKay Brockington Siebold, Kane Alexander Siebold; great-grandchildren: Abby Reckner, Skylar Russell, Jayce Daniel King, Caden Brockington King, Eli King; siblings: Loretta Crowley, Judy Elgin, Deborah Tiller, Gloria DuRant, Sarah Edwards, Angela Weatherford, Clarence Edwards, PeeWee Edwards; and dear-friend, Blonnie Talbert

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Brenda Christine King Thomas.
