Brenda Morrell

Brenda Jordan Morrell, age 73, passed away Sunday March 18 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Marvin Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in the Darlington Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Brenda was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Ernest Leo and Ophelia Grantham Jordan. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Lydia, S.C. She enjoyed and loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her son, Tyrus R. (Gerry Lynn Dixon), Hartsville; Grandchildren, Kevin (Jennie) Morrell, McBee, Kyle Morrell, Hartsville, Kelley Morrell, Selma, Ala, Justin (Brittany) Morrell, Hartsville, Clay (Kristy) Morrell, Kingstree; Great Grandchildren, Abby Morrell, Lilly Morrell, Damien Dixon, Brylie Campbell, Payton Morrell, Talan Laney, Journey Laney, Tex Johnson, Sawyer Morrell; sisters, Janice J. Ard, Lamar, Elaine (Lenny) Carpenter, Hartsville, Phoebe (Danny) Stokes, Lamar; brother, Butch Jordan, Lamar; several nephews, nieces and cousins; daughter in law, Samatha Morrell, Hartsville. She was preceded in death by her sons, Wayne Ashley Morrell and Ernest Todd Morrell.
