Boyd Munn

Mr. Boyd Stith Munn, 91, of Hartsville, passed away Saturday morning, October 1st, 2016, at home surrounded by his loving family.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. James E. Beck, Jr. and Rev. Johnny Davis. The family will be receiving friends Sunday afternoon, from 3-5 p.m. at the residence, 300 Gandy Drive in Hartsville.

Mr. Munn was born in Hartsville, a son of the late Joe Lide and Nonie Munn. He was the oldest member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, a United States Veteran who served in World War II, and was a part in the Invasion of Normandy. Boyd will always be near to our hearts, being remembered as a great provider, and a man who dearly loved his family.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his daughter, Susan Jones; grandchildren: Jessica (Nita) Coleman and Wyndee Nicole Jones; great-granddaughter, Addison Jones; and a brother, John Munn, all of Hartsville. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Winnie Kelley Munn.
