Bonnie Barefoot

Mrs. Bonnie Gainey Barefoot, 52, of Hartsville, passed away Saturday, February 24th, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in New Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Cliff Leonard officiating.  The family will be receiving friends following the service at the church.

Bonnie was born in Florence, a daughter of Frances and the late LeRoy Gainey.  She was a person who embraced and loved everyone she met.  Some of her favorite hobbies included going to yard sales, flea markets, dancing, and was an avid Gamecock fan.  Of all the ones who brought joy and love to her life, her grandchildren were truly the apple of her eye.

Surviving are her husband, Joey Barefoot of the home; daughter, Ashley Atkinson and husband, Chris of Hartsville, son, C.J. Powell and wife, Amanda of Hartsville, grandchildren: Mikayla “Dukes” Atkinson, Avery “A.J.” Powell, Christopher “Bubba” Atkinson, Millie “Pie” Powell; mother of Hartsville; one brother, William Gainey of Columbia; and mother-in-law, Helen Joyce Barefoot of Hartsville.
