Bobby Lynn Cook

Mr. Bobby Lynn Cook, 69, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, June 8th, 2021, while at McLeod Health of Florence.

The date and time of his memorial service will be announced.

A native of Latta, Mr. Cook was a son of the late Liston Calvin, Jr. & Louise Calder Cook.  Bobby loved sports and went as far as the minor leagues in baseball.  He retired from the Darlington County Recreation Department as Athletic Director.  He enjoyed writing poetry, reading, and loved listening to Classic Rock.

Surviving are his children, Amanda Cook (Jeremie) Plyler of Marion and Dylan (Kacey Cranford) Cook of Hartsville; 2 grandsons; siblings, Debra (Dale) Todd of Loris and Brenda Williams of Latta; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Faye Cook; and sister, Linda Coleman.
