Graveside services for Billy Ray Atkinson age 55 will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 4:00pm at New Market United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Grover Johnson and Rev. Richard Toy will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be anytime Tuesday at the residence of Bea Atkinson, 226 East Old Camden Road, Hartsville, SC.

Billy Ray passed away on May 15, 2016. He was born in Hartsville the son of the late William M. Atkinson, Sr. and Nell Johnson Atkinson. He enjoyed fishing and going to youth baseball games.

Surviving are his brother, William M. Bea Atkinson, Jr. and his wife Marie, Hartsville; nephews, Rocky (Michael) Atkinson, Hartsville, Rodney Atkinson, Hartsville; niece, Tina (Dusty) Hodge, Sumter; great nieces and great nephews; a special friend, Johnny Byrd. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Atkinson.
