Betty Woodham

Bishopville, S.C. Betty Ann Woodham, 71, of Bishopville, SC, began her walk in the eternal garden on January 26, 2014 surrounded by her beloved family. Ann was born November 6, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina. In early adulthood, she moved to Bishopville where she raised a family and spent most of her life. She was happiest when she was in her yard cultivating vegetables and beautiful flowers. Ann also enjoyed shag dancing and southern cooking, both passions she passed down to her daughter and granddaughter. Of all the things Ann loved, it was family that meant the most to her. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving daughter and son-in-law, Dr. John and Debbie Jordan of North Myrtle Beach, her granddaughter, Dr. Ashlee Justice of Columbia, her brother William Billy Player of Bishopville, and 4 nieces, Cheri Lynn Brennan and Terri Kay McClure, both of Lansing Michigan, Dana Player of Myrtle Beach and Lee Schaffer, Dillon and one nephew, Kenneth Player, Bishopville. She was preceded in death by her father Tyler Player, mother Lucille Darling, daughter Cynthia Ann Woodham, son William Tony Hutto, sister Hazel Woodruff, and brother, Jerry Player. A service will be held to celebrate her life at Savannah Advent Christian Church in Bishopville on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Rev. Tom Rutan will officiate. Burial will be in the Savannah Advent Christian Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Visitation will be Thursday 1:30 3:00 at the church.
