Betty Gaskins

We are saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Betty Gwen White Gaskins age 72 she is the wife of Mr. Bill Gaskins.

Memorial services will be held 3:00pm Sunday, September 13 at Prospect United Methodist Church.  Pastor Cindy Rumsey will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Visitation will follow the services at the church.

Mrs. Gaskins was born in Bristol, VA the daughter of the late Gerald E. White and Beatrice Lily White Byrd.  She was a longtime member of Prospect United Methodist Church, she graduated from St. John's High School in 1965.  She enjoyed traveling, reading and doing puzzles.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband William A. "Bill" Gaskins, Hartsville; son, Andy (Ashley) Gaskins, Hartsville; sister, Geraldine (Gene) Atkinson, Hartsville; nephews, Trey Atkinson, Billy Smith and Byron Gaskins.

Norton Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Gaskins family.
