Barbara Katherine Dixon Smith

Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Barbara Katherine Dixon Smith age 74 will be held 3:00pm Wednesday at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Pastor Daniel Poston will officiate.  Burial will be held in Green Hill Church of God of Prophecy.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith passed away on Sunday evening at her residence with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Chesterfield, SC the daughter of the late Caulie William and Ella Barefoot Dixon.  She loved the Lord and loved serving him, She enjoyed gardening and antiques.  She loved CHRISTmas and really enjoyed the nativity scenes during that time of the year.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Lynwood W. Smith, Hartsville; daughters, Melain Smith Kissiah, Hartsville, Shanon Walters, McBee; grandchildren, Arianna (Thomas) Scott, Isaiah Walters, Michaela Kissiah, Whitley Walters; siblings, Edward Allen "Bo" (Abbie Gail) Dixon, Sylvia Byrd, Wanda Dixon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Betty Watford, Charles Walter Dixon, Shelby Roberts, Wynette Jordan and her son in law, Billy Kissiah.
