Audrey Ann Reynolds Price, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, died peacefully at Morrell Nursing Center on January 30, 2023, ending a century of life. Mrs. Price was born in Lee County, S.C., on January 1, 1923, the seventh child of Joseph Dalton and Moyse Watkins Reynolds.
She and her late husband, William Raphael Price, Sr., celebrated more than seventy years of marriage, the births of seven children, 17 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren. Audrey was a gifted gardener, both with her flowers and the many years of vegetable gardens, from which she created wonderful, delicious meals. She lived an enviable life of faith and commitment.
Mrs. Price is survived by her daughters, Stella (Hal) Littleton of Asheville, NC, Kathy (Bill) McLeod of Columbia, SC, Kimberly (Bubba) Edwards of Jackson, MS, Cynthia (Alex) Price of Florence, SC., sons, William Raphael (Linda) Price Jr., of Hartsville, SC, Larry (Carol) Price of Savannah,GA, and Chris (Lisa) Price of Lexington, SC.; grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Ray Reynolds and Ina Reynolds Hoover. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, a grandson, and sisters, Leslye Boykin, Edith Rush, Selma Chardukian, Stella Reynolds, Faye Puryear, and brothers Dalton Reynolds, Dekle Reynolds, Levert Reynolds, Tyrie Reynolds, Hugh Reynolds, and two infant brothers.
Funeral services for Audrey Ann Reynolds Price will be held on February 4, at 1 p.m. at High Hill True Light Church in Lucknow, SC, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30, Friday evening at Norton Funeral Home.
