Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for Arduth Norton King, age 88, who passed away March 25, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-7 at the Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ben & Shari Carter, 113 Peacock Row, Lamar, S.C. Mrs. King was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Arthur Roy & Ellen Thompson Norton. She was retired from Sonoco Products Company. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed Church History, Genealogy and serving as a volunteer in various capacities in the community. Surviving are her husband, Lewis J. Dixon, Hartsville; three daughters, Judith (Roy) Dellinger, Sherrills Ford, N.C., Phyllis Teal, Chesterfield and Shari (Ben) Carter, Lamar; three sons, Michael (Shirley) King, Peachtree City, GA, Harry and Donnie King, Hartsville; 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren; one sister, Eunice Gainey, Elgin; one brother, Helmuth Norton, Mary Esther, FL. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Malcolm Tyler King; one brother, Jessie Norton; two grandchildren, Nicole Dellinger and Justin Jones. The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Morrell Nursing Home for the care which she received. Memorials may be made to the Charity ones choice.
