Memorial services for Archie Neil Wilks, Sr. age 86 will be held Sunday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Wilks was born in Hartsville a son of the late Neil R. & Elliott Stroud Wilks.

Surviving are his wife, Frances James Wilks, Hartsville; four sons, Archie (Betsy) Wilks, Jr. Marion, Rex (Leigh Ann) Wilks, Sr. Darlington, Duncan Wilks, Hartsville and Scott (Edith) Wilks, Wallace; four daughters, Sarah (Larry) O'Neal, Lexington, Cathy (Gerald) Sellers, Hartsville, Rito Brosington, North Carolina and Joy (Dale) Smith, Rockingham; many grandchildren and great grand children; two brothers, E.M. Wilks, Hartsville, David Wilks, Hartsville; one sister, Celia Melton, Wallace. He was preceded in death by his silblings, Margaret Sue Knowles, Betty Faye Stafford and James Duncan Wilks.
