Annie Reese

Mrs. Annie Mae Reese, 79, of Hartsville, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday evening, February 7th, 2017, with her family by her side.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in Soul’s Harbor Pentecostal Holiness Church. Pastor Wayne Windham and Rev. Grady Baskins will officiate with burial following in Darlington Memory Gardens. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Born in Chesterfield, Annie Mae was a daughter of the late Roland & Elsie Davis Teal. She was a member of Soul’s Harbor Pentecostal Holiness Church. Annie Mae loved baking, tending to her garden, and had a big heart for animals.

Surviving are her husband, James Len Reese of the home; daughter, Dr. Terry Davis of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her dearly; sister, Ruby Hayes and husband, Bud of Darlington; brother, William Teal of Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.

Annie Mae was preceded in death by her son, Marvin “Tom” Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Souls Harbor Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2000 West Bobo Newsom Highway, Hartsville, SC 29550.
