A graveside service of Remembrance for Annie “LuLu” Gainey King will be held 2:00pm Tuesday at Westview Cemetery. Visitation will follow the services at the graveside. The family is meeting at Brandi and Cal Wheelers house, 320 Laurel Oak Drive, Hartsville.
Mrs. King went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, October 16, 2020. She was born in Hartsville the daughter of the late Carl Wesley and Margaret Hogge Gainey.
LuLu was the salt of the earth. Her sweet soul was infectious and everyone admired her and loved her. Her love for gardening was evident to anyone who visited her home. LuLu owned and and ran Merle Norman for many years. She passed on her love for skin care and fashion to her beloved granddaughter Brandi. LuLu had two beautiful daughters that she loved dearly. Her grandson Mitchell made her smile and laugh every time they were together. She loved him dearly. Her family was her most precious gift and her great grandson, Hatch, was the apple of her eye.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Haroldette King, Hartsville; granddaughter, Brandi (Cal) Wheeler, Hartsville; grandson, Mitch Register, Zenia, OH; great grandchildren, Hatch Wheeler, Jasper Register and Brandon Register; sister, Almena Galloway, Hartsville, several loving nieces, nephews and 1st cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Ann Register, brother, JW Gainey.
