Memorial service for Alpheus U. Windham, age 92, will be held Sunday at 3:00 at the Cassatt Baptist Church. Rev. Dean Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in the Cassatt Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Visitation will be following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Mr. Windham was born in Lee County a son of the late Rufus K. & Nannie Lee Radcliff Windham. He was retired from Kendall Mills, and was a member of the Cassatt Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Nancy McNeely Windham, Bishopville; one son, Lee (Tracie) Windham, Bishopville; five step children, LaRue (Wayne) Steen, Hartsville, Barbara (WJ) Stevens, Cassatt, William (Betty) Teal, Cassatt, Jenelle (Dean) Jackson, Cassatt and Bruce (Patricia) Teal, Leesville; 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; one brother, R. Travis (Laura Anne) Windham, Bishopville; one nephew, Travis R. Windham, Bishopville.
