Allan Leo Peters

Mr. Allan Leo Peters, 71, of Hartsville, passed away Monday afternoon, May 31st, 2021, while at MUSC Health – Florence Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Friday afternoon, June 4th, 2021, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Pierce officiating.  Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery and the family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

A native of Wabasha, Minnesota, Mr. Peters was a son of the late Marvin Frank & Josephine Stuckey Peters.  Allan worked for many years in the construction business, specializing in boiler maintenance.  He greatly loved his family and will be missed by them.

Surviving are his daughter-in-law, Jenny Peters; grandchildren: Amber (Logan) Watts, Landon (Olivia White) Peters, Cody (April Shaw) Cranford all of Hartsville, and Tommy (Chelsea) Lett of Patrick; great-grandchildren: Payton Watts, Lightning Levi Watts, Kayla Cranford, Sadie Peters, and 2 more on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Marvin “Lightning” Peters.
