Mrs. Alicia “Alice” Barefoot Perdue, age 72, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at her home. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, January 25, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. William Griggs with burial to follow in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Jeff Williams and Elder George Barefoot. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Perdue was a retired employee of Wellman Advanced Materials and a member of Brown Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, traveling to the beach, and shopping.

In addition to her parents, Alicia was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, William G. Barefoot and James Darrell Barefoot; and 2 sisters, Lois Gainey and Eleanor Gainey.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Arthur Neil Perdue of the home; brother, George W. (Yvonne) Barefoot of Hartsville, SC; sister, Teresa Brigman of Patrick, SC; sister-in-law, Helen Joyce Barefoot of Hartsville, SC; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Gainey of Hartsville, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.
