View Remembrance Video Bethune, S.C. Funeral services for Alice Brand Catoe, age 83, who passed away July 26, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 at the Harmony Baptist Church. Rev. Tracy Hinson will officiate. Burial will be in the New Market Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be Monday 5-7 at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Catoe was born in Lydia a daughter of the late Elliott Grey & Nellie Taylor Brand. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her husband, Robert A. Catoe, Bethune; two daughters, Faye (James) Harrell, Darlington and Carlene (Dale) Walters, Lydia; one brother, Buster (Donna Lee) Brand, Camden; one sister, Nellie Grey Beasley, Hartsville; eight grandchildren; Audrey Player, Hartsville, Brandon Player, Hartsville, Tyler Grantham, Hartsville, Katie Basnett, Columbia, Misti Smith, Florence, Lindsay Patrick, Spartanburg, Kelly Sanderson, Simpsonville, Jay Harrell, Timmonsville; seven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl V. Morrison and one brother, Franklin Brand. www.nortonfh.net
