Alfreida Lynette Hughey

Ms. Alfreida Lynette Hughey age 70 passed away December 9 at McLeod RMC. Graveside services will be held Friday December 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Bishop Karl Ensign and Mr. Tim Harvey will officiate. Visitation will be following the graveside service.

Alfreida was born in Albemarle, N.C. a daughter of the late Lloyd G. and Annie Lois Smith Solomon. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was retired from the South Carolina Department of Mental Health after 20 years of service.

Surviving are one sister, Patricia S. Osterberg, Hartsville; two brothers, Danny (Lisa) Solomon, Hartsville and David F. (Kim) Solomon, Little Rock Arkansas; one brother in law, Larry Shields, Kalmath Falls, Oregon and one sister in law, Jeanne Solomon, Modesto, CA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Shields and a brother Randy Solomon.
