Adrian Flowers

Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for Adrian W. Flowers age 87, who passed away December 24, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 at Antioch Baptist Church. Dr. Donald Martin and Rev. Danny Pierce will officiate. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Flowers was born in Hartsville a son of the late Matthew & Etta Campbell Flowers. He was retired from the Darlington County Sheriffs Department after 21 1/2 years of service where he served Chief Deputy. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he served as an Active Deacon and faithful member for over 55 years. He was a WWII Veteran. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Jane Hill Flowers, Hartsville; two daughter, Elaine (James ) Odom, Hartsville, Nell Gainey, Hartsville; three grandchildren, Rion (Dr. Leigh) Odom, Waynesville, N.C., Josh (Miranda) Gainey, Hartsville and Tiffany (Dr. Dale) Newman, Hartsville; three great grandchildren, Adriana and Braeden Newman, Hartsville and Colin Odom, Waynesville, N.C..
