Adele Gainey Hill

Hartsville, S.C.

Mrs. Adele Gainey Hill age 67 passed away September 22. A Memorial service will be held Saturday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home with Reverend Lin Kirkman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hill was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Thomas E. Gainey and Alma Gainey. She worked at McLeod's Hospital in Darlington and prior to that worked at Morrell's Nursing Home for 20 years.

Surviving are her husband, John Martin Hill, Sr. Hartsville; one daughter, Mandy (Al) Griggs, Hartsville; one son, John M. (Randy Mattox) Hill, Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Olivia Grace Griggs and Cooper Thomas Griggs, both of Hartsville; one brother, Thomas Mitchell (Jackie) Gainey, Hartsville; Special Friend, Margaret Grantham, Hartsville.
